walls on level 5. We observed the reinforcing steel for bar size, spacing, clearances, and lap
splices. The reinforcing steel appeared to be placed in general accordance with the project
plans and specifications.
In addition, we observed holes drilled by PCL into existing slab on the terrace level at gridlines
Q-(34.5-43) and on the south side of shear wall #1 on level 5. PCL utilized a wire brush and
shop vacuum to clean the holes. We observed the holes for the depth, diameter, and overall
cleanliness. The holes observed on the terrace level appeared to be in general accordance with
the project plans and specifications of a minimum of 6 3/4" depth for the #6 bar using Hilty HY150
Epoxy. The holes drilled for shear wall #1 south side on level 5, also appeared to be in general
accordance with the project plans and specifications of a minimum of 5 5/8" depth for the #5 bar
