This"Letter of Record" is in regards to a proposed six foot wide opening in e concrete masonry unit
(CMU)wall located between units C-3 and C-2 (indicated on architectural drawings provided by Steven
James Riden Architects dated 12.03.10) on the main level floor plan of the Lift House Condominiums.
We feel the CMU wall is not a structurai bearing wall and the six foot section of wall may be removed. I
do suggest that a(3)-1 3/<x 9'/z" LVL header with (2)-2x6 trimmers and (1)-2x6 king stud be installed in
the opening to support the CMU block above.

Dear Chris:
Enclosed 1lerewith please find three revised stamped sets of the plans for the installation of a new
door between the existing bar in Bart& Yeti's and tl�e adjacent eommercial space. We have
modified the plan to include the inoving of the door into the bathroom to facilitate handicapped
compliance, as you requested.
In accordance with your project review comments of 10/28/10, I have had the architect make
additions that should meet most of your requirements.
I would again emphasize that we are not modifying the ventilation s5�stem, lighting or electrical,

The Landlord, Lazier Lionshead, LLC, has the contractual liability and obligation to upgracle the
fire sprinkler system. Bob Lazier has hired Alliance Mechanical to engineer and instal] those
system components. They llave or will contact your offices for necessary permits, and should be
responsible for any necessary engineering that results in any changes or niodifications to the

Dear Sirs:
Enclosed herewith please find four stamped sets of the plans For the installation c�f a a�ew door
between the existing bar in Bart & Yeti's and the adjacent commercial s�ace we a taking over for
use as additional bar/restaurant space.
In accordance with our discussion, I have had the architect add a note reg�rd:rig±he construction
of the door, that should meet your requirements. My tentative �lan is to purchase a pre hung
door at Home Depot, Jen Wien has one for about $1b1.Ot1. 7'he n�;w c�pen;ng will be framed to
code, which I believe is an additional two inches larger than the door. I estimate the total cost at
approximately $1,000.00.
Although it is not on the current plans, it has been suggested tl�at we Yziove the bathroom doar to
the other wall. This is a non structural change and hopefully we cc�uld get tentative approval of
that potential change at this time.
