Subject: Gas Boiler Replacement for Unit 10, Building 9, Vail Racquet Club
Dear Martin:
The owner of unit 9-10, Charlyn Canada, would like to replace her boiler which is the original
(over 30 year old). There are only two condominium buildings at the Vail Racquet Club
(buildings 9 and 10) which came equipped with gas boilers As you are aware, neither building
lends itself to the installation of a high efficiency boiler due to the venting requirements of these
boilers. In this particular unit, there are finro levels above that would need to give up living space
to accommodate the venting (sidewall venting is not an option either).
We request your assistance in granting Charlyn Canada an exemption to the requirement for a
high efficiency boiler.
