We have reviewed the Plan Review comments by the Town of Vail Community Development
Department for the project described above, dated February 3, 2010.
The following are our responses to the structural items:
15. Design criteria listed in the structural general notes, section 1.1. have been revised from
the International Building Code, 2006 Edition to the 2009 Edition. Please refer to sheet
S001.
16. The building has been designed in accordance with Section 1608.2 of Chapter 10 -1 of
Vail Town Codes, amended January 2010 (attached). This section allows design for roof
snow loads of 100 psf as listed in the structural general notes, section 1.A. on sheet
S001.
17. Structural calculations for roof rafters are attached to this response report.
18. Please refer to the attached revised sheet S001 for holddown anchor requirements.
We believe that our responses fulfill the requirements of the plan review comments. If any
