Town Attorney, Matt Mire conducted a training session for Board members. Matt said
that meetings must be announced and open to the public. There must be a record of
defensible findings. Minutes must be taken or recorded. The Board may want to discuss
some matters in an Executive Session where the public is not present. Board members
are quasi judges. People must be treated fairly. Matt urged Board members with
questions about conflicts of interest, or any other matter, to call him. Questions were

demonstrate their equipment to the Fire Department next week. Mike should be able to
make a determination about the event by Octoberl.
