GENERAL COMMENTS
● Submit four complete sets of revised construction documents containing the requested information with all plan revision items clouded or otherwise identified.
● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment.
BUILDING COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
Sheet A3
1. Indicate on plans that glazing to have a minimum of .35 u value and NFRC sticker shall be on windows for framing inspection. Reference section 402 of the IECC.
Structural Comments
Sheet S1.1
1. Provide statement of special inspections on plans per section 1705.2 IBC.
2. Owner to provide completed special inspection program by an approved special inspection agency prior to permit issuance. See Town of Vail web page for required forms and list of
approved agencies.
Plumbing Comments:
Sheet A1
1. Provide gas piping plans with gas pipe sizing calculations per Town of Vail submittal requirements.
Mechanical Comments:
Sheet A1
1. Provide size of proposed gas fireplace.
Electrical Comments:
Sheet A1
1. Identify on plans or by notation locations of required smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Reference sections 314.1 and 315 IRC.
2. Show electrical outlets at baseboard locations in compliance with article 250.52 NEC.
