Subject: Conceptual Review Comments on the Moore Residence
Russell,
Here are some comments I have developed in performing my review of your conceptual plans. I have routed your plans
to Public works and Fire has received your digital copy. These comments do not need to be addressed prior to your
scheduled March 16, Design Review hearing. You are fourth on the agenda. The meeting begins at 3:00. Due to
consent approvals of projects please be at the Vail Town Council chambers by 3:00. Additional comments will come as I
receive them from PW and Fire.
1) A complete application will need to be submitted for final review.
2) A survey meeting all the requirements of the application is required.
3) A site plan showing staging, construction access, erosion control and tree protection is required.
4) A plan showing the location of all exterior light fixtures is required. By Code shall not exceed 11 fixtures.
5) Cut sheets of all new light fixtures which are in compliance with dark sky requirements of the Code.
6) All proposed material samples and colors will be required for final review.
7) A Gross Residential Floor Area calculations (red lined) including a basement deduction calculation are required
with application for final review.
8) A plan showing site coverage calculation is required with the application for final review.
Everything looks great for a conceptual level of review.
