Tom,
Attached are the revised renderings in response to last night's meeting with the DRB.
We replaced the Cor -ten panel with the corrugated panel but left the two book -end elements that tie the vertical circulation
together. It will be easier to resolve the detail of the two metal panel systems coming together than to resolve the stone
meeting the metal panel system on the north -east corner of the building. We brought back the corrugated metal in- filled
"Art- niche" as suggested.
Thanks,
Brent Bartels LEED AP

Went thru DRB with these three DRB related VE items; Removal of Roof over patio, replace corten panel with thin
veneer stone, and alternate materials for trash enclosures. Did not have the luck as I did with Council. They did not like
any of the ideas.
Long story short we came up with a head nod on the following;
-Roof over patio could be removed
- Corten paneling could be replaced with corrugated corten paneling (With some design changes -see below)
-Trash enclosure remains the same, no VE
Based on conversations with Mike C the corrugated paneling would be slightly cheaper then the thin stone venner thus
creating the same savings if not some more.
DRB would like the corrugated paneling to be looked at in different location since it wont corner well with the flat panel
corten on the east side. Suggestions were to keep the old "Art niche" and place the corrugated corten there (So if in the
future the Town decided to use that area for art or advertisement the corten could be taken off exposing a non
veneered area to be modified for art of Advertisement stuff) and then also add another section or two like that possibly
offset above to create a large pattern type corten aesthetic. Using the same SF just in different locations on the back
wall.
They will need to see final drawings for final approval on this.
