General Information: This application is required for all proposals involving the addition of any floor area, including
net floor area and /or gross residential floor area (GRFA). This also includes proposals for 'residential 250 additions' and
'interior conversions'. Applicable Vail Town Code sections can be found at www.vailgov.com under Vail Information —
Town Code Online. All projects requiring design review must receive approval prior to submitting a building permit ap-
plication. An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Commu-
nity Development Department, as outlined in the submittal requirements. The project may also need to be reviewed by
the Town Council and /or the Planning and Environmental Commission. Design review approval expires one year from
the date of approval, unless a building permit is issued and construction commences.

would be disclosed by an accurate and complete land survey of the Land and not shown by Public

4. Any lien or right to a lien, for services, labor or material heretofore or hereafter furnished, imposed by
law and not shown by the Public Records.
Defects, liens, encumbrances, adverse claims or other matters, if any, created, first appearing in the Public
Records or attaching subsequent to the effective date hereof but prior to the date the proposed Insured
acquires of record for the value the estate or interest or mortgage thereon covered by this Commitment.

The Town of Vail has reviewed the design review application for an addition at 1455 Greenhill Court. The following is a
summary of the comments from that review:
Planning Department
• The limits of disturbance fence and tree preservation methods must be shown on the site plan.
• Label the elevations of the existing and proposed roof ridges and eaves on a site plan and show the associated
building height calculations.
• Show the proposed surface drainage on the site plan.
• Show the location of the required parking spaces with a 9'x19' box for exterior spaces and 9'x18'box for interior
spaces.
• Show the locations of all utilities, including service lines, on the site plan.
• Label the proposed driveway grades and walkway grades.
• Delineate the proposed snow storage areas and provide the associated snow storage area calculations.
• Submit an exterior lighting plan and cut sheets for any proposed fixtures. The number of exterior lights shall not
exceed 1 per 1,000 sq.ft. of lot area (22 fixtures), pursuant to Section 14 -10 -7, Vail Town Code.
• Any non - conforming exterior lights must be replaced with full cut -off style fixtures pursuant to Section 14 -10 -7,
Vail Town Code.
• The GRFA calculations must be revised to include the basement area deductions pursuant to Section 12- 15 -3 -A,
Vail Town Code. Submit one set of red -lined elevations showing how the deduction was calculated.
• Submit a proposed landscape plan, tree preservation /tree removal plan, and the associated landscape area
calculations demonstrating compliance with Section 12- 6D -10, Vail Town Code.
• Update the site coverage calculations to reflect the 25% (rather than 20 %) site coverage allowed in Special
Development District #4, Cascade Village.
• The Design Review Board has historically required the horizontal transition of exterior wall materials to occur at
inside corners of the building.
• An exterior material list and sample board must be submitted prior to the Design Review Board hearing.
• The proposed building footprint must be staked on -site and trees to be removed must be flagged prior to the
Design Review Board site visit.
