The project will include the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a new residence for the owners of the property. Assuming DRB approval this Spring,demolition of the existing residence would begin at the end of June with construction of the new residence to follow immediately. The proposed home has been designed to fit into the existing footprint to the greatest degree possible and to preserve the large existing trees on the site. The highlight of the property is the tree lawn to the East of the existing home. This tree lawn consists of several large Spruce trees that range from 45'to over 60' in height. The proposed home keeps the orientation of the existing home,with the rear of the home facing the tree lawn,and retains the existing Main level FFE. Currently only one existing tree on the interior of the property is scheduled to be removed (see landscape plan for location of tree to be removed). The style of the proposed home is Rocky Mountain Refined Rustic in design. The exterior finishes include stained channeled siding in a Canyon Brown finish, random moss rock, board and batten stained in a Canyon Brown finish,and dark bronze windows. Please see the attached spec sheets for all exterior finishes. The primary access to the new home will remain where it is today,with a secondary access point off Horn Silver. The secondary access point is allowed via an existing access easement through an adjacent property. The parking pad for this access point will be paved in grass pave pavers.
