RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS
● Submit 2 complete sets of revised construction documents containing the requested information with all plan revision items clouded or otherwise identified.
● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment.
BUILDING COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
1. Annotate on plans the height of the proposed handrail in conformance with section 1012.3 IBC.
2. Handrail dimensions shall comply with section 1012.3.1 (Type I) of the IBC. Revise plan to reflect these dimensions
Structural Comments:
1. Upon a field visit, the plans do not reflect the actual field condition. Note: the walls to be replaced exceed 4’ of retention and surcharge. Reference sections 105.2 and 1610 IBC
This requires an engineer design of the proposed new retaining walls. Resubmit engineered plans for these walls
