SUBJECT: CONSTRUCTION PARKING & MATERIAL STORAGE
In summary, Ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for any
person to litter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debris
or material, including trash dumpsters, portable toilets and
workmen vehicles upon any street, sidewalk, alley or public
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town of
Vail streets and roads is approximately 5 ft. off pavement.
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of Vail
Public Works Department. Persons found violating this ordinance
will be qiven a 24 hour written notice to remove said material.
In the event the person so notified does not comply with the
notice within the 24 hour time specified, the Public Works
Department will remove said material at the expense of person
notified. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be
applicable to construction, maintenance or repair projects of
any street or alley or any utilities in the right-a-way.
To review Ordinance No. 6 in full, please stop by the Town of
Vail Building Department to obtain a copy. Thank you for your
cooperation on this matter.

SUBJECT: CONSTRUCTION PARKING & MATERIAL STORAGE
In summary, Ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for any
person to litter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debris
or material, including trash dumpsters, portable toilets and
workmen vehicles upon any street, sidewalk, alley or public
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town of
Vail streets and roads is approximately 5 ft. off pavement.
This ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of Vail
Public Works Department. Persons found violating this ordinance
will be given a 24 hour written notice to remove said material.
Zn the event the person so notified does not comply with the
notice within the 24 hour time specified, the Public Works
Department will remove said material at the expense of person
notified. The provisions of this ordinance shall not be
applicable to construction, maintenance or repair projects of
any street or alley or any utilities in the right-a-way.

Dear Peter:
The purpose of this letter is to confirm the involvement of this
office with the above referenced project. The new window is
located on the south side of the building, below a row of windows
in other units previously completed. The wall is constructed of
8" thick non-bearing masonry reinforced vertically and horizontally
@ 32" on center. This office inspected and structurally reviewed
the following items:
a) TEMPORARY SHORING-The existing 2-2x6 trimmers beneath the
window directly above the new window, were connected to the
masonry with 2-5/8" diameter Trubolt Wedge Anchors each side.
b) NEW FRAMING-The new 3-2x10 header is supported by a 2x6 trimmer
and king stud each side of the opening. The new header is
na�.led to the existing wood wall above. The new trimmers and
sill are ramset to the existing solid grouted cells each side
of the window and at the sill.
All the new framing members are sufficient for the design loads.
