General Information: The required approval for a duplex subdivision or resubdivision of an improved duplex lot and
structure will require town approval through the administrator, subject to review by other Town of Vail departments.
No duplex subdivision shall be approved unless the lots are improved with at least foundations for both units existing at
the time of submittal. Please see Section 13-8, Duplex Subdivisions, Vail Town Code for more detailed information. Vail

Hey Hans,
Please find attached the staff approval for the Allen/Castro duplex plat. Please have the surveyor note the total
combined lot area on the plat in both acres and square feet and then print two copies of the plat on mylar.
After you have obtained all signatures on both copies of the plat (with the exception of the Administrator and the Clerk
& Recorder) submit the mylars to the Town of Vail with any associated documents to be recorded with the plat. With
the plats and associated documents, also submit a check paid to the order of Eagle County Clerk and Recorder in the
amount of the recording fees. Please contact Eagle County to verify the exact amount of the recording fees.
