Construction Activities/Observations: Field engineer arrived on site, as requested,to perform moisture and density
testing on fill in the"Green Area"adjacent to the frontage road widening project.
Upon arrival, field engineer was informed by the contractor that they were not ready for testing and field engineer could
test fill placed that day on the next visit.
Therefore,no moisture and density testing was performed during this site visit.

Construction Activities/Observations: Field engineer arrived on site, as requested,to perform moisture and density
testing at the Lionshead frontage road widening project.
Upon field engineer's arrival, the contractor was not placing fill. Field engineer spoke with Chris with the Town of Vail,
who informed him that the fill that will be placed in the current exca�ation is in the norr structural"Green Area"and no
tests will be necessary in this area.
Therefore,no moisture and density testing was performed during this site visit.
