The frozen soil was removed at 11 feet north of Gridlines A C/0-3.2. Field engineer was informed that m fill will be placed in the area today. The contractor was in the process of removing the frozen soil at 11 feet north of Gridlines A- G3.5-6. The area at 11 feet north of Gridlines A C/0-3.2 was free of frost and has met project specifications. Field engineer recommends that this area be protected from weather prior to fill placement.
