Construction Activities/Observations: Field engineer arrived on site, as requested, to perform reinforcing steel
(rebar) observations and concrete tests for the elevated deck at Gridlines A.0-C.0/6.1-8.0 and moisture and density
testing for the base course below the sidewalk along Gridlines C.0 to E-A/0.0-3.0.
The rebar for the deck was not ready at the time of the proposed concrete pour, so the pour was cancelled. The
contractor had just started placing base course in the area of the sidewalk.
Therefore,no rebar observations, concrete tests, or moisture and density tests were performed during this site visit.
