1. A Colorado Registered Engineer's stamp or N.I.C.E.T level III(min)stamp
2. Equipment cut sheets of materials
3. Hydraulic calculations
4. A State of Colorado contractor registration number
5. Plans must be submitted by a Registered Fire Protection Contractor

RE: Ritz Carlton unit 615 remodel at 728 West Lionshead Circle.
Mr. McGee,
This letter is intended to describe the full scope of work for changes to the fire sprinkler system that will
be performed by Western States Fire Protection in unit 615 at The Ritz Carlton.
, Required modifications to the fire sprinkler system are as follows.
: Relocate seven heads for new wall configurations.
: Relocate four heads to line up with light fixtures.
: Plug two heads due to wall removal.
All work will comply with NFPA 13 and local requirments.This is a steel pipe wet system on the sixth
floor. Added materials will be compatible to the existing system.
It is our understanding that this letter will be sufficient to obtain a permit to proceed with the work
described above. No other work will be done without authorization from VFES. If further information is
required to issue a permit please contact our office in Glenwood Springs at 970-618-3294.
