This is a Electrical Load report for the Vail Community
Development Office for the remodel at Vail Racquit Club
Building 5 Unit 2. I am the electrician working for No Bull
Contracting. My company is Eagle Electric Inc. and my
name is Michael Koenen.
The property has multable apartments. The remodel has its own meter. The
meter has a 125 amp main breaker. The feeder to the panel is a 1/0 SER wire
from the meter.
The only power requirements we are adding are three additional
recessed lights and two pendants which replace a surface light on the
ceiling. The existing ceiling fixture in the kitchen has 3, 75watt bulbs and
we will replace it with 3 recessed cans with 22 watt fluorescents and 2
pendants with 50 watt bulbs.
In the livingroom we will add 4 recessed cans with 22 watt fluorescent
bulbs.
In the bathroom we will add I recessed can over the shower with a 22
watt fluorescent bulb. TL,*---, ba i i!
All the baseboard heaters will be replaces by hydronic baseboard
heaters which save energy by 20 %.
With the changes there should be an energy savings.

Asbestos Testing & Abatement Requirements
Asbestos testing and abatement protects workers, homeowners, neighbors and emergency services responders from ex-
posure to harmful asbestos. It is your responsibility to be in compliance with the State. Please contact the State directly
for their requirements at the contact info listed below.
When is asbestos testing required?
ANY building projects disturbing more than these threshold levels of building materials require asbestos testing:
One- and Two - Family Dwellings: 32 square feet
All Others (commercial spaces, hotel rooms, etc): 160 square feet
Definition of a single - family dwelling: any dwelling unit that is used primarily for a single family, including
multi - family /condominium units, and fractional fee units.
Asbestos testing results must be provided with your application for a building permit.
Tests which identify POSITIVE results at more than 1% require abatement by a State - certified abatement contractor. The
air clearance letter or form must be submitted to the Town of Vail before the building permit will be issued.

Tips & Facts:
• Even recent construction projects may include asbestos - containing materials, so buildings of qny age require testing.
• The "1989 Ban" on asbestos - containing materials is commonly misunderstood. "In fact, in 1991 the U.S. Fifth Circuit
Court of Appeals vacated much of the so- called "Asbestos Ban and Phaseout" rule and remanded it to the EPA. Thus,
much of the original 1989 EPA ban on the U.S. manufacturing, importation, processing, or distribution in commerce
of many asbestos - containing product categories was set aside and did not take effect." - CDPHE

Dear Mr. Turnbull,
Sunrise Environmental, Inc. performed a limited asbestos inspection at 4590 Vail Racquet Club, Unit #2,
Vail Colorado on August 2, 2011. Sunrise Environmental, Inc. collected three (3) samples of drywall
texture, one (1) sample of ceramic tile & adhesive, and one (1) sample of drywall & joint compound from
the bathroom of the unit where scheduled renovation activities will impact the materials. Bulk samples
were submitted to Aerobiology Laboratory Associates, Inc. located in Lakewood, Colorado for analysis.
Laboratory analysis indicates less than 1% asbestos was detected in the samples collected. The
inspection was limited to the bathroom only. No other areas or building materials were inspected
or sampled at the Client's request.
Samples 1 -1, 1 -2, and 1 -3 were submitted for point count analysis and were found to contain less
than 1% asbestos and is not considered an Asbestos- Containing Material by the Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) or the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
(CDPHE).
The table below lists the sample information for the materials collected. The analytical data report and
inspector certifications are attached.
