The description of the alternation is to nanow a stone patio wall to accommodate a replacement hot tub on the patio. The application is specifically to remove and replace the existing 30"high patio wall in the northwest corner of Unit 1 in Summers Lodge to accommodate a replacement hot tub. The existing hot tub, as you can see from the photos, was carved into the existing wall. The new hot tubs are 1' wider so that an additional area needs to be carved out from the patio wall. It is intended to take the existing stone off the wall and then replace it with in a 6" wide wall with a stone cap to match the existing cap stone. This application is being submitted to meet the Submittal deadline of August 15, 2011, for the meeting date of September'7, 201 l. It is hoped that this application could be approved by Staff Review. Attached is a check for$250.00 for Multi-Family/Commercial Applications along with the application. There will be no changes to the site plan,the set-backs, the elevations, or floor plans other than the attached 11 x 17" drawings showing the minor changes.
