General Information: This application is for all changes to approved plans prior to Certificate of Occupancy.
An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Commu-
nity development Department. Design Review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a
building permit is issued and construction commences.

RE: 115 Forest Road Drainage Improvements

Chad, please find attached plans for 115 Forest Road Drainage Improvements. The
proposed improvements include piping subsurface drainage and surface drainage from
115 Forest Road, through 64 Beaver Dam Road and discharging the improvements
under Beaver Dam Road to Gore Creek.
Permission to cross 64 Beaver Dam Road has been coordinated with the home owner
and the signed agreements and proposed easement are forthcoming.
The SGM Master Drainage Study map dated 06 -22 -05 indicates these proposed
improvements are located in basin #18 with a 25 -year storm of 5 cfs and a 100 -year
storm of 9 cfs. The proposed type 13 inlet and 12" RCP can accommodate the 5 cfs,
however, with the current roadway geometry and the existing inlet located just to the
east in this same basin, the full magnitude of the runoff event may never reach this
inlet. Even though the proposed improvements on 115 Forest Road increase the
percent impervious on the lot, when compared to the overall 23 acres of basin #18 this
is not a significant increase. The proposed improvements do not contribute any off site
basin runoff, but will be connected to the perimeter drain around the proposed
residence on 115 Forest Road.
The proposed culvert under Beaver Dam Road is proposed to be a 12 inch reinforced
concrete pipe sloped at 4.65% connected to a CDOT type 13 valley inlet on the upstream
side that will be cast in place due to the existing utilities in this area. The riprap outfall
was designed for 5 cfs using HEC -14 and the detail is similar to the current FHWA
Central Lands Riprap Apron.
