Re: Expired Plan Review: Permit #610 -0344 434 S. Frontage Rd. E. #104
Dear Mr. Sublette,
A review of the Town of Vail Community Development files indicates that the permit
listed above was never paid for or picked up. This permit was approved on December 1,
2010 and you were notified. Permits must be issued within 180 days of notification or
they become expired per the 2009 International Building Code, section 105.3.2, as is
the case here.
❑ If this work was never completed, the plan review fee must still be paid as we
completed that work in response to the application being submitted. The plan
review fee is $385.61.
While contractors typically submit permit applications, property owners are ultimately
responsible for the permits on their property per the 2009 International Building Code,
section 105.1.
Please note that if you have not completed this work but intend to do so in the future, a
new building permit application will be required. The documents, including plans, that
were submitted with your original application on October 5, 2010, will be recycled.
I encourage you to contact me at 970 -479 -2142 with any questions.
Sincerely,
Martin A. Haeberle
Chief Building Official
