● Submit two complete sets of revised construction documents containing the requested information with all plan revision items clouded or otherwise identified.
● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment.
BUILDING COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
Sheet A1.2
1. Annotate on plans the required maximum glazing requirements for the storefront doors and windows per Table 502.3 IECC. Note: Storefront to be a maximum of .80 and windows .55 u value.
2. Show how compliance with section 3411.7 IBC is to be achieved. Note: creating a new step element on the accessible route to a primary function is not considered a pre- existing condition.
Sheet A6.2
1. Show how prevention of the accumulation of water is to be achieved at exterior walls to include flashing and water resistive barrier. Reference section 1403 IBC. See details 7 and
8.
2. Show on plans the required anchor ties for the proposed masonry veneer. Reference section 1405.6 IBC

1. Plans reflect field welding of structural elements to be done. Annotate on plans special inspection criteria and submit a signed special inspection agreement upobnn resubmittal.

1. Provide lighting power calculations for the interior and exterior lighting. Reference Tables 505.5.2 and 505.6.2 of IECC.
