RESPONSE INSTRUCTIONS
● Submit four complete sets of revised construction documents containing the requested information with all plan revision items clouded or otherwise identified.
● Please respond in writing to each comment with a response letter addressing each comment.
BUILDING COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
Sheet A2.1
1. Plans to reflect building type, occupancy classification, and applicable codes. See Town of Vail submittal requirements.
2. Plans to be sealed by a licensed architect if penetrating fire assemblies with mechanical equipment. Please provide cross-sectional details for proposed installations.
3. Provide flame spreads classification for the proposed flooring showing compliance for the building type. Reference section 603 IBC
4. Obtain a DRB approval for the HVAC and decking materials prior to resubmittal.
Sheet A2.4
1. Show on plans the ceiling height of all spaces. Reference Town of Vail submittal requirements.

1. Provide a minimum 20 x 30 access for each air handler. Reference section 306.3 IMC
2. Plans to do not reflect the required condensate drains per section 307 of the IMC. Revise plans.
