Changes to Approved Plans
General Information: This application is for all changes to approved plans prior to Certificate of Occupancy.
An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Commu-
nity development Department. Design Review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a
building permit is issued and construction commences.
Submittal Requirements:
1. Three (3) copies of all pertinent approved plans with illustrated, labeled changes
2. Joint Property Owner Written Approval Letter, if applicable.

Attached please find our application and revised drawings for requested changes to plans approved on 8-
4-11 (DRB 110233). In addition to the revised plans we have also included copies of the applicable
previously approved drawings. The changes include the addition of +/ -10 s.f. of GRFA beyond the +/- 16.6
s.f. previously approved by way of the interior conversion regulation. We are also proposing a change in
the configuration of the windows on the south side of Unit 308 / 309 and Unit 240 below. The presently
approved window configuration consists of double casement window units on each side of a larger fixed
unit. We would like to change this configuration to a single casement unit on each side of the larger fixed
unit. It should be noted that the total window width and height is unchanged from what was previously
approved. In addition we would like to increase the size of the presently approved parallelogram window
on the south side of the loft bedroom.
As it relates to the Kelton Space and our recent discussion of head heads aligning with the sliding glass
door, I hope this will not be an issue. As I mentioned then, the windows to be replaced presently align with
all the widows on this level (refer to attached photograph). As you can see in the photograph, the only
sliding glass door on the same floor level as the Kelton Space is on the very south end of the building and
hidden by the building directly south of it. I think it would be a real mistake to change the head height of
the windows to be replaced to match the sliding glass door and then have them not align with all the
windows around them.
If the Kelton space window head height is not an issue and you agree that the requested changes are not
significant, we are hopeful that you can review and approve our application on a staff level.
