Pool Room Dehumidification System R & H Mechanical will remove & recycle the existing pool room exhaust fans, duct work, and the (2) forced air heating furnaces. ➢ (1) Desert-Aire Swimming Pool Dehumidifier model Expert-Aire LCO5. Unit located in the pool mechanical room. Unit equipped with R -410 coil and charged with environmentally friendly refrigerant. Desert-Aire swimming pool dehumidifier is complete with all operating safeties and micro - processor control system/ hot gas bypass capacity control, 24 volt humidistat / thermostat and pool room sensor. The evaporator and air stream condenser coils are Elect5o -fin coated for corrosion resistance. (1) Drain line will be run from the air handler to the mechanical floor drain. Dehumidifier equipped with an HRDV -125 heater to supply air discharge air when necessary. Heater will be tied into the existing flue pipe exhaust duct work. ➢ (1) ROCF4 -5 SO 1 Remote Outdoor condensing unit. Unit located with -in 75' of air- handler and installed on (1) outdoor condenser pad (Note: Exact location determined on site and approved by Chas). Refrigerant line set ran from the outdoor condenser to the indoor air - handler. ➢ (1) Humidistat installed in the pool room for unit control. Exact location of wall mounted humidistat determined on site with builder. ➢ All necessary duct work & fittings. The existing in -floor supply air duct work & registers will be re -used with this system. The existing return air / exhaust air opening in the pool room will be utilized for the return air to the system a new grill will be installed. * Note: It has been determined that the existing supply air duct work may be disconnected 1 damaged in several areas & should NOT be reused. Please see Duct Work Replacement Option below. ➢ Aluminum duct work will be installed from the return air duct to the new pool room dehumidifier (withstands moisture & chemical components). Duct Work Replacement Option: R & H Mechanical will cap and abandoned in place the existing floor mounted supply air duct registers. R & H Mechanical will install all new PCD (Poly -Vinyl Coated Duct) outdoor supply air duct work. The new PCD duct work will be routed from the mechanical to the exterior of the building.
