BUILDING
COMMENTS
Architectural Comments:
Sheet A-1
1. Plans indicate re-use of doors and windows. Provide information that the existing windows and door comply with Table 402.1.1 IECC. Note:
must be a maximum of .35 u value.
2. Annotate on the plans the required Carbon Monoxide detection devices to be installed as required by section R305 IRC.
3. Reflect on the plans the
termination point of the proposed flue. See Town of Vail amendment section 503.6.4 IFGC.
Sheet A-3
1. How is weather protection to be achieved at the new openings in the exterior wall
for the windows and doors? Please provide a detail. Reference section 1403.2 IBC
