Dear Mike:
With regards to the referenced project, Vail Resorts Development Company }�ereby
agrces to re�ocate the existing fire hydrant prese.ntly located on the norlheast corner of the
site. It is und�rstood that the fire k�ydrarzt in question is too close to the ncwiy corzstrucied
paz-king structure and a clear distance frvm the structurc of approximately 1G' --6" can be
achieved by relocati�g the hydrant to the north cort�er of the lazxdscape island.
We ur�dersta.nd that a final Fire Department iz�spectzon is a necessary pre-requisite for the
Building Official to insure a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy_ This assu�-ance to
relocate the fire hydrant at a later date is being made with the undersianding that the Vail
Fire DepartmEnt can approve the final fire inspection one� all other conditions noted
from ihe March 10, 2005 waik-through are completed to the satisfaction o�'the Vail Fire
Departznent.
We will provide a des�gn for the relocation of the fire hydrant for review by the
Department of Public Works, the Vail Fire Depattment and ti�e Upper �agle Valiey
Water and Sanitation District prior to the actual worlc tal:ing place. Pending approval by
these three agencies, our goal is to cozz�plete the relocation by Aprxl 30, 2005.
