Dear Mr. Kassmel,
Please find our responses to the Public Works & Transportation comments below.
Public Works Comments:
15. All heat within the ROW must be on separate zones.
The snowmelt areas which extend into the ROW have been placed on separate zones. The West
parking lot ROW zone is to be served with separate loops off of a previously designated snowmelt
manifold. This area can be shut off independently of other zones by closing shut off valves on two
loops of the manifold. The East parking lot ROW zone will be served with its own manifold. This
area can be shut off independently by closing shut off valves at the man;fold.
We have noted in two places on the plans for the contractor to verify the exact locations of the
ROW with the Town of Vail prior to the tubing installation, and that the system will need to be
inspected by the T.O.V. prior to the asphalt pour.
Please see revision deltas #3 on sheets M1.1 & MSite for documentation of the changes explained
above.
