Re Code requirement for Commercial Storage Rooms
Mike Vaughan,
Per our conversation today, what are the agreed upon requirements for the installation of smoke
detectors in storage areas in the commercial spaces of One Willow Bridge?
The results are as follows:
Smoke detectors are not required in the storage room when all of the following criteria are met:
1 The square footage of the storage room does not exceed 50ft2.
2 The storage area has a sprinkler head.
3 The storage area contains no mechanical. (i.e. No furnace, hot water heater etcetera)
