Re : Scope of Work for the Lobby Renovation
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the Lobby Remodel at Vail Mountain
Lodge and Spa The scope of work will be to place temporary heat detectors meeting
coverage requirements of heat detector coverage. During construction all of the wiring for
the devices will be supported properly as they are currently laying throughout the ceiling on
pipes and conduits. In addition the existing smoke detectors in the space wll be reconfigured
to match the new layout of the space. One speaker strobe will be relocated to the wall on the
West side of the sitting area as the wall it is currently in will be removed. These devices will
be added to the current main fire alarm control system, a Notifier NFS-3030 in Vail Mountain
Lodge and Spa and will provide continuity between the new area and the existing building.
All audio / visual devices will be connected to the existing power supply in the basement next
to the fire panel.
Once work has been completed and tested, CSWC will contact Vail Fire Department for both
a rough-in inspection and a final inspection for the fire alarm in the remodeled area..
