remove such sand, gravel, rocks. mud, dirt, snow, ice or any other debris or matcrial within
twenty four (24) hours aftcr receipt of said notice by the Director of Public Works. In thc
event the person so notified does not comply with the noticc within the pcriod of time herein
specified, the Dircctor of Public Works, or other authorized agent. may cause any such sand,
gravel, rocks, mud, dirt. snow, ice. dcbris or any other material to be removed from any street
or allcy at the expcnsg of the notified.
Exceptions: The provisions of subsection A hereof shall not be applicable:
I . Within the immcdiate area of any construction, maintenance or repair project of any
street or alley or of ary rvater maiq scwer main. clectricitv linc, gas line, tclephone linc
or ily appurtenance thereto;
2. To deposits of sand, dirt or materials nccessary for the protection of the public safetv; and
3. To public areas designated for the dumping or depositing of said matcrials.
Summons; Penalty: As an altcrnative to thc notice for rcmoval provided in subsection B
above, any ;,{,'
person who violatcs or causes another to violate the samc. mav be issued a summons to
appear before the Municipal Court of the Town for said violations, and upon being found
guilty ofa violation hereunder be punished as provided in Section l-zl-l of this.cqle.
Notice: Penalty: It is unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to complv with ttlE noticc of
the
Director of Public Works as provided in subsection B hereof. and any such pcrson shall, in
addition to paymcnt of the expcnsc of removal incurred by the Director of Public Works, as

Applications - G25MV series gas fired furnaces include four models
with high fire input capacities of 60,000, 75,000, 1OO,0O0 and t2O,O0O
Btuh (17.6, 22.O,29.3 and 35.2 kW) and energy efficiencies (AFUE) of
80.0%. Units are applicable to up-flo, down-flo or horizontal applica-
tions. Electronically variable speed (VSM) motor maintains a specified
air volume throughout th6 antire eldernal static range. Units faature
two stage heating operation and can b€ controlled by two stage or
single stage th€rmostat. Units are applicable to Lennox Harmony ll*
Zone Control System and Lennox Efficiency Plus HumidiW Control
System. Lennox add-on evaporator coils, electronic air cleaners ano
power humidifiers can be easily added to tha furnace. Units are
shipped factory assembled with all controls installed and wired. Each
unit is run tested at the factory to insure proper operation.
Approvtls- Units are certified by A.G.A./C.G.A. Laboratories and rat-
ings are certified by GAMA. Units have besn ratad and tested accord-
ing to U.S. DOE test procedures and FTC labeling regulations. G25MV
models ms€t California Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Standards and Califor-
nia Seasonal Efficiency requirements. Blower data is from unit tests
conducted in the Lennox Laboratory air test chamber. G25MV units
have been developed in accordance with ISO 9001 quatity standards.
Equipm.nt Wananty- Aluminized steel heat axchanger has a limited
warranty for a full twenty years. All other covered components have a
limited warranty for five years in resid€ntial installations and one year
in non-residantial installations. Refer to the Lsnnox Equipment Limited
Warranty certificate included with the equipment for specific details.

ratory life cycle tested.
Transformer- 24 volt (50VA) control transformer is furnished as stan-
dard equipment and is factory installed on blower access door.
Fumace Contol Conter Board-Furnished and factory install6d on in-
terior blower access door- Solid-state board contains all necessary con-
trols and relays to operate g8s valve, combustion air blower and igni-
tion. Board also monitors flame, limit and gas valve operation. Also
included is a low voltage terminal strip for thermostat connoctions and
a manual reset circuit breaker to protect board. A diagnostic LED is fur-
nished on board as an aid in servicing the system. Two 120 volt acces-
sory terminals are provided on control board for operation of 6ccesso-
ries during either cooling or heating modes.
VSP2-1 Blower Contrcl - Blower control interfaces the VSM motot
with the thermostat and optionst CCBl humidity control. Contains
blower timed-on control (45 seconds fixed) and blower timed-off control
(90 to 330 seconds adjustable). Blower operation is automatic if limit
is tripped. Control board has four diagnostic indicator lights (ON/OFF
- HEAT- HI/LOW - CFM)to assist in servicing. Controt isfactory installed
on the blower access door. The three blower speeds - hsating, high
speed cooling and low speed (cooling, low heat or continuous fan) and
timed off blower control 8re made by simple iumper pins on the boaro.
Vaiable Speed (VSM) Blower Motor-lJnits are equipped with quiet
v6riablespeed directdrive blower. Variable speed motor (VSM) is resil-
iently mounted. Each blower assembly is statically and dynamicalty
balanced. Change in blower speed is easily accomplished by simple jumper change on VSP2-1 blower control. When units are used with
Harmony Zone Control Syst€m, blower motor ooerates bstween tow
6nd high speed settings dependlng on number of zones operating.
Up-Flo/Horizontal Fifter Kit - Filter kirs are furnished with units for
field installation in up-flo or horizontal applications. Kit includas adiust-
able filter rack with access door, filter removsl tool for bottom return
air applications and filter. S€e Specifications table for filter sizes.
Filters are not furnished for down-flo applications. A down-flo filter kit is
available and must be ordered extra. See below and Specifications table.
Tharmostat toption.lt - Heating thermostat is not furnished and
must be ordered extra. See Thermostats bulletin in Accessories sec-
tion and Lennox Price Book. For all-season applications, heating and
cooling thermostat is available with the condensing unit.
CCBI EfficiencyPlus'" Humidity Control (Optional) - The CCB1 Hu-
midity Control (35H00) is an electronic control which installs nextto the
room thermostat and allows the selection of the desired indoor hu mid-
ity level in the cooling mode. During the heating season th6 control is
inoperable. The CCBl controls the indoor humidity by altsring the in-
door blower soeed and the com-
pressor speed. Humidity level de-
sir€d may be accomplished by
adiusting a vertical slide to a set
point on a scale of 40% thru 60%
with 50% recommended as the ini-
tial set point. Five indicator lights
(MlN - MAX) in a bar graph con-
figuration indicate the difference in
the actual relative humidity and the
set ooint. This indicates the de-
mand imposed on the system
equipment, the more lights on, the longer the 6quipment will operate
to obtain the desired humidity levsl. lf no lights are on, the humidity is
at or below the sat point. Control is not furnished and must be ordered
extra. Requires EBR1 Blower Relav Kit
Down-Flo Fifter Rtck (Optionel) - Filter rack is availabte for field
installation in down-flo applications. Filters are not furnished and must
be ordered entra. See Specifications table for filter sizes and filter racx
order number.
Down-Flo Combustible Floor Ease (Optional) - Additive base is re-
quired for heating only units installed on combustible floors. Base is
not furnished and must be ordered extra for field instaltation. See
Specifications table and dimension drawing. Not required in add-on
cooling applications.
Hanging &a*at Kit loptiona -Fieldinstalled kit LB{9957 (rl6J66} avail-
able for easy suspension of unit in horizontal applications. Kit includes
four vertical supports for mounting to ioists and two horizontsl chann€ls.
Two Speed lnducod Draft Blower-Shaded pole hsavy dutytwo speed
induced draft blower prepurges heat exchanger and safely vents flue
products. Blower is controlled by the furnace control center board for
a prepurge cycle (30 seconds) and a post purge cycle (5 s6conds). Two
pressure switches (low heat and high heat) prove blower operation bs-
fore allowing gas valve to open. Induced draft blower operates only
during heating cycle.
Inshot Bumers - Aluminlzed steel inshot burners provide efficient
trouble free operation. Burner venturi mixes air and gas in correct pro-
portion for proper combustion. Burner assemblv is removeable from
the unit as a single component for ease of service and each burner mav
be r€moved individually.
Two Stage Gas Contrcl Valve - 24 volt redundant combination two
stage gas control valva combines a manual main shutoff valve, ores-
sure regulation and automatic electric valve (dual) into one comgacr
combination control.
Hot Surfw lgnition - lgniters are constructed of high purity recrystal-
lized silicon carbide for long life and reliability and are cemented to a srea-
tite block for protection against current leakage under high humidity
conditions. lgnition leads are constructed of 18 gauge nickel chrome en-
closed in high temperatu re fiberglass insulation for dspendable operation.
lgnition Contrcls - Electronic flame sensor control assures safe ano
reliable operation. Should loss of flame occur, flame sensor controls
will initiate 3 attempts at re-ignition before locking out unit operation
for 60 minutes. lgnition control has LED to indicate status and as an aad
in troubleshooting. Watchguard type circuit automatically resets igni-
tion controls after one hour of continuous thermostat demand after
unit lockout, eliminating nuisance cslls for service.
Rugged Cabinet - Constructed of heavy gauge cold rolled steel. Cabi-
net is subiect to five station metal wash process resulting in a perfect
bonding surface for a baked-on powder paint finish. Cabinet surface
temperatures are low due to foil faced fiberglass insulation on side ano
back panels of heat section. Blow€r section is completely insulated
with mat faced fiberglass insulation. Complete service access is ac-
complished by removing one-piece front panel and interior blower ac-
cess door. Blower assembly may be completely removed from unit for
service. Safety interlock switch located on blower access door auto-
maticallyshuts off powertothe unitwhen door is removed. Gas piping
inlets are provided in both sides and top of cabinet. Electrical knocx-
outs are provided in both sides, top and bottom ofcabinet. Units have
flanges on top and bottom of cabinet that mav be bent out for duct con-
nection to unit. See dimension drawing. Painted panel is furnished to
block off bottom air retu rn air. Return air entry is possible on either side
or bottom of cabinet for up-flo spplications. End return air entry is
available for horizontal and down-flo applications.
Multi-Position Capabirity - Units are shipped from factory for up-flo
applications and horizontal applications with right hand or left hand air
dischsrge. For down-flo applications, interchange top and bottom
caps, remove heat exchanger section, rotate 180. top for bottom and
re-install.
Flame Rollout Switches - Dual manual reset switches are furnished
as standard and are factory installed on either side of the burner oox.
Switches prevent unit operation in the event combustion products pas-
sage through the flueway is reduced or blocked.
Limit Contrcls-Factory installed and accurately located limitcontrols
provide protection from abnormal operating conditions. primary limit
is located on hsating compartment vestibule panel. Two secondary
limiB are located on sither side of the blower housing.

In reference to your letter of July 24, L978, the
property as listed above is in a High Hazard Avalanche Zone,
ilthough the unit itself is in a Moderate Hazard Zone.
In a High Hazard Avalanche Zone, building is not
permitted. In a Moderate Hazard zo0.e, building is permitted
but only with an approved avalanche mitigation strategy'
(See enclosed Eazard Ordinance. )
In the case of already existing units in known
avalanche }1azard, zones, the Town of vail has classified these
as existing legal non-conforming units. occupancy is allowed
to continue, but before additlons could be made or in case
of destruction of the units, the new law would apply and
bullding would only be allowed to take place in a Moderate
Hazatd Zone.
