We have been successful in saving the existing trees mentioned and I have purchased from Planters of Vail and am having planted one 12' spruce and three 8' spruce on the site. fn addition, I have already planted a number of juni- pers and prunus and golden elder bushes and intend to put in some more this coming weekend. I have had top soil spread on the construction areas and planted both mountain grass seed and a ground cover which T hope will thrive. The entire planting area has been spread with hay and it is being watered at reasonable intervals. I believe this should more than meet my obligations with respect to the Town of Vail as outlined in your letter of September 2, 1983.
