IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ALL SUBMISSIONS TO THE DRB:
1.. In addition to meeting submittal requirements, the applicant must stake the site to indicate property ljnes'and building corners. Trees that will be removed
shou'ld a]so be marked. This work must be completed before the DRB visits the
si te.
2. The review-process for NE|rl BUILDINGS will normally involve two separate meetings of the Design Review Board, so plan on at least two meet'ings for their approvai.
3. People who fai'l to appear before the Design Review Board at their scheduled
meeting and who have not asked for a postponement will be required to be

4. The following items no longer have to be presented to the Design Review Board.
They, however, have to be presented to the Zoning Administrator for approval:
a. l.lindows, skyljghts and simi'l ar exterior changes that do not alter the

b. Building additions that are not viewed from any other lot or public space,
which have had letters submitted from adjoining property owners approving
the addition; and/or approval from the agent for, or manager of a condomjnium
associ ati on .
5. You may be required to conduct Natural Hazard Studies on your property. You should
check with a Town Planner before proceeding.
MATERIAL TO BE SUBMITTED
I. NEhJ CONSTRUCTION
A. Topographic map and site plan of site containing the following (2 copies):
1. Licensed surveyor's stamp.
2. Contour intervals of not more than 2' un'less the parcel consists of 6 acres or more, in which case, 5r contour intervals wi'll be accepted.
3. Existing trees or groups of trees having trunks with diameters of 4" or more
one foot above grade.
4. Rock outcropp'ings and other significant natural features (large boulders,intermittent streams, etc. ) .
Avalanche areas, 100 year flood plain and slopes 40% or more, if applicable.
Ties to existing benchmark, either USGS landmark or sewer invert.
Locations of the fol'lowing:
a. Proposed surface drainage on and off site
culverts, swales, etc.
b. Exact locations of all utilities to include existinE sources and proposed
service lines from sources to the structure. Utilities to include:

NOTE: As much of the above information as possible should occur on the site plan, so that the inter-relation of the various components is clear. The landscape plan should be separate. The existing topographic and vegetational characteristics may be a separate m9P: Il,9 appticant must stake the site to show lot lines and bui'lding corners. 'Trees
that will be lost during construction must be tagged. The work should-be completed before the DRB site visit.

Elevations must show both existing and finished grades.
2. Exterior surfacing materials and colors shall be specified and submitted for
review on the materials list available from the Department of Corrnunity Develop-ment. Color chips' siding samples etc., should be presented at the Design Review
Board meeting.
F. The Zoning Administrator and/oi DRB may require the submission of additional plansn
drawings, specifications, samples and other material (including a model) if deemed
necessary to determine whether a project will comply with design gu'idelines.
II. MINOR ALTERATIONS TO THE EXTERIOR OF BUILDINGS
Photos or sketches that c'learly indicate what is proposed and the 'location (site p'lan)of proposai may be submitted in ljeu of the more formal requirements given above, as 'long as they provide a1l important specifjcations for the proposed inc'l uding co1 ors and

B. Building dimensions to nearest tenth of foot.
C. All utility service'lines as-builts showing s'ize of lines, type of material used,
