At the Design Review Board meeting on April 1, Lgg'l , the Devoe residence was approved 5-o with the following conditions:
1,. Additional landscaping as drawn at the meeting wiII be added to the site plan in the form of three 8-10 foot spruce and two 6-8 foot spmce.

The foltowing list summarizes cornments made by the Design Review
Board and PubIic Works department with respect to the Devoe
^-^-l ^^+ .l./J-\JJe\/\-r
Town Engineer:
l-. The roadway easenent must be taken care of before any final approval is given on the project.
2, AIJ- required parking must be located on the ownerls property. The garages should be pulled back as much as possible to a11ow for parking in front of the €taralte on the ownerts property. Extra room for parking will also
alLow for easier snow storage.
3. A drainage plan should be subrnitted.
4. A utility form should be subnitted.
5. Driveway grades should be indicated.
6. Retaining wall heights should be indicated.
Design Review Board:
L. The roof over the west garage should be tied back into the elevator tower to avoid an open icy area between the south side of the garage and the elevator tower.
2. The board preferred the elevation drawing of the northeast corner of the garage.
3. The board liked the garage door treatnent that you
proposed.
4. It was suggested that the length of the first dormer
over the garage be decreased.

THIS INSTRUMENT is made this ,43s dav of /4L* , 1987, bv and
between RICHARD H. DEVoE and BARBARA DEVoE, (hereinafter referred to as "owner"),
and the TOlr|N OF VAIL, C0L0RAD0, a municipal corporation.
WHEREAS, a certain easement of record to be abandoned described as a road
easement twenty-five (25) feet in width along the northeast lot line of LOT 18,
VAIL MEADOWS, FILING NO. 1, ACCORDING TO THE RECORDED PLAT THEREOF, COUNTY OF
EAGLE, STATE OF COLORADo, allowing the Easement Users the use of such easement for
a road easement, (hereinafter the "Road Easenent"); and
WHEREAS, the easement js not presently used for the construction, maintenance
and reconstructjon of a road or utilities; and
WHEREAS, no future user of the easement for the construction, maintenance and

WHEREAS, a portion of 0wner's ptoposed building to be located on property js

the mutual benefits to be derived and other good and valuable consideration, the
partjes hereto hereby covenant and agree as follows:
1) The Town of Vail on behalf of the General Public, by this instrument
hereby forever abandon, vacate, release and terminate that portion of the Road
Easement as now described as an easement twenty-five (25) feet in width along the
northeast lot'line of LOT 18, VAIL MEADOWS, FILING N0. 1, ACCORDING T0 THE REC0RDED
PLAT THEREoF, COUNTY OF EAGLE, STATE 0F C0L0RA00. Easement Users hereby convey a'l 1
their right, title, and interest in and to that portjon of the Road Easement
vacated above, to 0wner.
2) This Vacation and Grant shall be
the successors and assigns of the parties
