Dear Jack and Joan:
In 1975, an agreement was entered into between the Upper Eagle Va1ley Sanitation District and the Cortina Lane Sewer Association concerning a sewer main extension paid for primarily by the property owners along Cortina Lane. Under this agreement the District agreed to prohj_bit connections on to this main line without approval of the constructor of the main line. Approval from the constructor (Cortina Lane Sewer Association) presumed a payment of a prorata share of the costs of constructing this main line from each of the property owners who had not contributed originally.
Apparently the District has allowed the connection of a newly constructed building on l_,ot l, Block A, Vail Ridge subdivision without approval of the Association. lve have been advised by the Association that 9L,477.15 has been paid for the total amount due from Lot 1of gI ,759.I3. The District is re-quired, via this contract, to disconnect T,ot l, Block A, Vail Ridge subdivision from the sewer system untir written approvar of said connection is received from cortina Lane sewer Associa-tion.
Accordingly, disconnection of the referenced 1ot will be effected by the sewer district on April 16, 1980 unless written approval of the connection is received from cortina Lane sewer Association. we urge you to resorve any differences with the constructor of this sewer main prior to this date and avoid the necessity of a disconnection and subsequent reconnection.
