The purpose ofthis letter is to provide you with written notice ofthe violation Section 12- l 1-3 ( Design
Approval) of the Vail Town Code.
As I bclieve you are now aware, no person shall commence removal ofvegetation, site preparation,
building construction or dcmolition, dumping of material upon a site, sign erection, exterior alteration or
enlargcment of an existing structue, paving, fencing or other improvements of open space within the limits
ofthe Town unless design approval has been granted as prcscribed in the Vail Town Code.
The Town is ia rcceipt of your design review board application. The application will be assigned to a
member of our department tbr revicw. Given the cunent workload and number of projects in the office it
will he sevcral days before a complete review of your request can be completed. Once the rcview is
completed we will call you to inform you of the results.
ln the meantime, no furthcr work shall be done on the propcrty. You may complete temporary
improvements to secure and protect thc structure from damage while the permits are under review.
