Floodplain Update
To all,
The re-zoneing and Floodplain fill variance will be going to PEC on April 1Oth.
With regards to the Floodplain issue:
We wiff be providing PEC with a copy of the submitted study dated U14106 and the soon to be receieved
final engineered stamped letter from Hydrosphere along with a memo of recommendation from statt. In
general PW will be recommending approval with the following conditions: Prior to fill being placed on the
lots a CLOMR-F must be approved by Fema, atter the fill is placed a LOMR-F must approved by FEMA,
All new slructures built on fill must be deemed out of the floodplain by FEMA(meaning no load bearing
shared walls with the existing structures), and all new structures must have a minimum freeboard of 1'
above the BFE.
lf you intend to fill on your lot you must fill out a CLOMR-F tor Fema, you should be able to fill this out and
submitt to FEMA simultaneaously with this PEC process. The link to the form is:

Please review this documentation and application. I will assist )lou in filling out the lorm in any way that I
can, however it will probably be more efficient if you contact FEMA directly with FEMAs application and
process questions.
Soon as I receive the final letter from Hydrosphere I will forward it to you all.
