NE-NH Series Seauence of Operation
Power turned ON (or after power failure)
• After a short initial delay for Microprocessor self test and system diagnostic the blower starts and
operates continuously.
• An additional 60 seconds of blower operation is used to allow sensor readings to stabilize. Based
on unit mounted sensor feedback unit shall begin/resume normal unit operation.
Dehumidification (Full Reheat) Mode
• The return air Relative Humidity is above setpoint.
• The compressor starts.
• 100% of the compressor hot gas condenses at the reheat coiL The supply air temperature is 15 °F
warmer than the return air.
Air Conditioning Mode
• The return air temperature is above setpoint..
• The compressor starts if not already operating in dehumidification mode.
• The compressor hot gas condenses at the outdoor air-cooled condenser. The supply air temperature
is 15 °F cooler than the return air.
Space Heating Coil
• The return air temperature is below setpoint.
• The Microprocessor sends a signal to the remote space heating coil (2 stages or 0-lOV).
• The heat signal will modulate based on return air temperature.
Compressor Start Sequence
• Blower operation is confirmed by microprocessor and compressor ASCT sequence completes.
• The Pump down solenoid opens and the system waits to establish 50 psi to close the refrigerant
low pressure safety switch.
• Once the low pressure switch has been closed for 10 seconds the compressor starts.
NE Series CommandCenterTM
CommandCenterT"' is the brains behind the NE Series
Indoor Pool Dehumidification System and is composed of:
• Modular Microcontroller System Boards
• A Unit-mounted LCD Display with Keypad,
• A Remote Mountable LCD Display and Keypad
• An Ethernet interface to a PC LAN
• WebSentryT"' - a web browser based remote interface
tool for monitoring and controlling NE systems from
anywhere around the world via the Internet.
CommandCenterTM is an advanced adaptive control system
with user friendly features including:
• Advanced Web-enabled Microprocessor Control
• Monitor via the Internet
• Monitor and Control Multiple Units at any Facility
• Remote Operator Panel (identical to Local Panel) can be
mounted up to 1000 feet away from the unit
• Built-in Refrigerant Pressure Measurement
• Up to 16 Unit Mounted Sensors
• Backlit LCD Display
• Interface with Building Management Systems
• Multi-stage Modular Controls
 --,
Operator panel is
mounted on the unit.
A second identical
remote panel can be
installed up to ]000
ft from the unit,
using sintple twisted
pair wiring (2-pair).
CommandCenterr"' will control your total indoor pool
environment. WebSentryTM, the web-browser based tool,
allows registered users to monitor their NE Series
Dehumidifiers from anywhere in the world via the Internet.
All information regarding system operation and performance
can be easily accessed from a personal computer - or from
the unit mounted keyboard/display paneL The graphic LCD
is programmed for four lines by 20 characters and is backlit
for easy reading in the low light conditions often found in
mechanical rooms. There are 7 LEDs that turn on and/or
flash to indicate status conditions. In a quick glance, the user
or service mechanic can quickly tell in what mode the
system is operating, and whether or not

can completely control rnultiple stages of operation.
any maintenance is required. A real-time clock is standard
on every unit, and provides a date and time-stamp for the
operation, alarm and data logs which track the performance
of the system and are stored in memory for later review and
to aid in troubleshooting. The user has access to adjust
setpoints, establish a schedule, set the realtime clock and
view the operational and alarm logs. A full service mode is
available for the service mechanic that provides for rapid
troubleshooting and testing of individual components in the
system. There is even a built-in "commissioning" mode to
walk the installing contractor through first-time start-up of
the system.
