Reference section 114 International Building Code 2009 edition. All repairs, work, alterations being done in violation of the building codes constitutes illegal action and shall cease. Further, in order to stay legal action a building permit shall be obtained to abate the illegal condition. The following illegal action has been observed: 1. Building permit B04 -0351 and PO4 -0165 are not completed. (expired) 2. Building permit B09 -0141 Deck rebuild, has not been inspected. (expired) 3. Electrical for new hot tub, no permit was applied for and no inspections. 4. Concrete pad not approved (hot tub area) Failure to resolve the aforementioned items within 30 days of the receipt of this letter will require the Town of Vail to proceed with legal action allowed by section 114.3 of the International Building Code 2009 edition as adopted by the Town of Vail.
