Leonard,
I am sorry that I didn't get this to you sooner. I have one application for a single lane closure for
staging /unloading trucks, one application staging up to and including the barriers, and one application
for improvements up to and including the barriers. The traffic control plan shows the flaggers for the
times we would need to have deliveries and then there are pages showing the barriers we are using
and barrels that we may use if we have to when pouring curb and gutter.
The duration of public improvements in the ROW is 4 days for pipe work, 11 days for concrete work, 8
days for grading and excavation, and 5 days at the end to get us started on paver installation. These
duration do overlap and are based on a 5 day work week, additionally this is only for work that we
intend to complete before June 25th. Adding the improvement days up I come up with 28 days out of 50
total. I believe that you will want a separate application for work after the 25th with the same b eakout of
staging vs. improvements but if I'm wrong let me know.

As I understand it,
There are a total of 67 days between 4 -19 -10 and 6- 25 -10, according to your information below you are not working
weekends, minus 18 days total. (correct) 49 days remain, however because of weather you have worked a couple of
weekends already, you added 28 days of public improvements which are no fee. It leaves 21 days of staging and delivery
use of ROW. (Correct). We used 3 days of Full street closure for deliveries during the street closure and one day of single
lane closure on W. Forest Road. (Request for Thrall)
I believe it adds up like this,
23 days of single lane closure at 360 per your permit application
2 days of full street closure (deliveries)
total fee amount is $1666.00 dollars.
Let me know if you feel this is correct. I mentioned above, PCL use 3 days of full street closure for deliveries but only
charged for 2 and I also did not double fee the permit for the illegal use of ROW.
Also let me know if your interested in the W. Forest Road lot on the south side of bridge.

1. Applicant shall submit a trafriic control plap, and work site /staging plan with this application. Traffic
Control Plan shall be incompliance with the MUTCD and sltt`ll show streets with names, adjacent
intersections, advanced warning signage, taper lengths, buffer space and work zone dimensions. No full
street closures are allowed
2. Applicant must contact Public Work's Department at 479 -2198 24 hours prior to commencing, of work.
Failure to notify the Town will result in forfeiture of bond money.
3. Applicant is responsible for obtaining approvals from all utility companies having an existing utility line within
the project site, applicant has option of routing application through the Public Works office to obtain the
necessary Town of Vail signatures. Please allow up to one week to process,
