If thi.s permi.t requires a Town of Vai'l Fire Department Approval ,
Engineer''s (Public Works) review and approval, a Planning DePartment
review or Health Department reviewr and a review by the Building
Department, the estimated time for a total review may take as long
as three weel{s.
All commercial (large or small) and all multi-family permits will
have to follow the above mentioned maximum requirements. Residential
and small projects should take a lesser amount of time. However, if
residentia'l or smaller projects impact the various above mentioned
departments with regard to necessary review, these Proiects may
also take the three week period.
Every attempt will be made by this department to expedite this
permi.t as soon as possible.

fn summary, Ordinance No. 6 states that it is unlawful for any
person to titter, track or deposit any soil, rock, sand, debris
or naterial, including trash dumpsters, portable toilets and
worknen vehicles upon any street, sidewallc, alley or public
place or any portion thereof. The right-of-way on all Town of
Vail streets and roads is approxinately 5 ft. off pavernent.
lhis ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Town of Vail
Public Works Departrnent. Persons found violating this ordinance wilt be given a 24 hour written notice to remove said rnaEerial.fn the event the person so notified does not cornply with the
notice within the 24 hour time specified, the Public Works
Department will remove said rnaterial at the expense of person
notified. Ttre provisions of this ordinance shall not be
applicable to constructl-on, naintenance or repair projects of
any street or alley or any utilities in tbe right-a-way.
