As requested, I performed an inspection at 330/332 Beaver Dam Circle on July 26, 2012 in order to determine what would be considered a safe condition to leave the unfinished portion
of the building for occupancy.
The following is the results of that inspection
· Boiler off the garage to be properly ventilated for combustion air. The garage does not have adequate volume to subsidize the required combustion air
· Insulate basement
· Protect electrical wiring from damage per the electrical code. You may drywall the basement walls or block protect the romex at wall cavities
· Install mechanical system
· Install an active fire alarm system per Vail Fire Department requirements.
· Install the garage door between the garage and dwelling
· Complete the drywall in the foyer
· A new building permit will be required to address all these items
