LandscaDe Plan Notes
1. All new plantings must also be inspected and have a minimum of a twelve (12) month
warranty and be planted no later than August I st to ensure their survival through the
winter months, If planted later they must be hand watered for
six (6) to eight (8) weeks.
2. All top soils must be tested and results known prior to installation. Soil depth must be
twelve (12") inches for flower beds and six (6") inches for shrub beds.
3. All evergreen & deciduous trees shall be nursery grown and consistent with nursery
standards for the tree specified.
4. All evergreen trees must be a minimum of 6 foot in height.
5. All deciduous trees must be a minimum of three (2") inch caliper in size trees shall be
multi-stem (clump) in form.
6. Utility locates, installation & permitting for site amenities to be coordinated between
owner/contractor with local utility agencies
7. Soil Preparation shall be 4cyd/1 000 sf of Premium 3 organic matter by A-1 Organics,
tilled to a 6" depth.
8. Wood Mulch for shrub beds shall be 4" depth of Western Red Cedar.
9. All trees shall receive 4" depth of wood mulch per detail.
10. Landscape Contractor is responsible for obtaining all permits an inspections required
for the installation of the landscape and irrigation.
11, lmgation for sod areas shall be a combination of spray's and rotors, shrub beds to be
12" pop-up spray heads and perimeter trees to be irrigated with a bubbler system.
Perimeter tree zones shall be separate from the sod and shrub zones. Controller to
have both freeze and wind sensors to avoid irrigating in adverse conditions.

An application for Design Review cannot be accepted until all required information is received by the Commu-
nity development Department. Design Review approval expires one year from the date of approval, unless a
