Gentlemen:
As requested, Monroe & Newell Engineers, Inc. has observed the finished deck
construction. Based on our visual observation it is our opinion that the deck construction
is in substantial conforniance with the intent of our structural design and the construction
is satisfactory.
Specifically, we have reviewed the deck column which is offset from the centerline of the
concrete pilaster below. We understand the offset occurred to avoid the existing
electrical service. This offset is acceptable.
