'I'his equipment eonsists of Disposable coveralls, tape, gloves and inask. This equipment cannot be re-used, every entry must have on new equipment. This �neans every work break taEean outside of containment the worker must ren�ove all of the equipza�ent, c�ispose of it, and re- suit vvith new equipment �pon re-entry. DECON'�AMxNATION CHAMBERS: C�ear� room pop-t�ps, wasta load-out �op-ups, eqt�iptzzez�t rooms, and portable shower cfzazrzbers are required for every pro�ect. This is to access the coutainment area through clean chambers an.d to exit r�vith debris through waste load-out etFambers. A shower is built on site witt� a watar filtering device and a heater for th� water. The Shor7ver is used by the ACM removal Tec�icians to iustue ihat no ACM debris is.rema�ed from theanselves before exiting. Each time �kze technician exits he must shower and re-dress. ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL p�BRIS REMOVAL: Aii Asbestos Containing Material must be broken down and put in to proper removal bags, water is inserted into the bag with the debxis to insure that if tlze bag breaks ACM does nat become friabie, then re-inserted into another bag, wiped down and HEPA vacuumed and removed thraugh the chainbers for disgosal. The dtunpster or trailer is also required ta be pre-oleaned and goly installed prior to the debris being ins�rted for disposal, W�ern the debris is ready to be disposed af at the dumpsite, the technician mus# call in advanced to schedule an appnintment with the dumpsiie to transport ACM debr�s. Once at the ACM certi�ied dumpsit� a Certifted Asbestos Workers must be present wkzile removing the debris. The shower is also s�t up wit1� �'iltec aiid hot water tank. This is campleted pxior to any abatement to znsure that all emergency procedures are met. STAGE ONE: This is a pre-eIean process. Wet wipe and HEPA vacuurn all sur�'aces that are not being removed. STAGE 'iWO: This is the con:tainment process. Install one iayer of certified bmil goly on the #7oar, install one layer oi cetified 4mi1 on the walis, add an additional fayer of certified 6mi1 on the floor, another layer of cextified 4mif on the walls, and then a final layer oi certifi�d 4mi1 on the ceiling. 2 TOTAL I.AY�RS ON THB PLOOA, 2 TOTAL LAYERS ON THE WALLS AND 1 TQTA�. STAGE FIVE: Final cleaning ta prepare far Final Air Clearance Testing. This incluties tl�e removal af the firs# layer of poly on the floor, then wet wipe and HEPA vacuuzn that surface. Then, repeat that process PER LAYER of poly. This is to �e done for �ACH layer on every surface.
