-ZAcconding to Bob Ruder, he notified you and one other party-l of the need to remove the items being stoied in the unprote-ted-portion of the basement of Building 9, on the 25th of July.Aecording to !!r. Ruder, he observed your husband taking additionalitens into the basement on tlre 25th of July, and after somediscussion, sent a written notj_ce requiring the items in guestion
be removed. by August 8th, 1989.
Having observed the condltlons in the basement of Building 9
and tnvlng reviewed the information f have received to date, it,has been determined tlat the storage of combustible mterials inthe basement of the Tinber Falls Building 9, is prohibited exceptin the fire rated portions of the basement desigmated as o$rnertsclosets. Such storage cannot obstruct pedestrian pathways, accessor egress within the basement and such storagie is hereby orderedto be removed within a reasonable tirne period.
According to infornation we trave received from l,lr. Ruder in aphone conversation wlth Chief Duran, M!. Ruder has wrltten andsent a letter to you indicating the storage nnrst be removed br1'Tuesday, August 8, 1989,
Given the amount of time between the date of the inspection,the date the Correctl-on Notice was issued and the date set for
complianee, in addition to the amount of time that has transpired
between the date of Mr. Ruder's letter and today, I feelsufficient time has elapsed to resolve the natter. The storage
needs to be removed.
