Per our recent conversations, your proposal of replacing the existing shake using a 40 year Prestique asphalt shingle in "weatheredwood" has been staff approved. The approval was granted with the agreement of the other owners of Building 9, which you indicated on your application and which falls under the purview of its own association. Once you receive this letter (approval enclosed), you, or your contractor, are free to apply for the building permit, a process which usually takes between two or three weeks.
