BUILDING PERMIT ISSUANCE TIME FRAME of Vail Fire Department Approval, Engineer's (Public Works) Department review or Health Department review, and a review estimated time for a total review will take as long as three (3) All commercial (large or small) and all multi-family permits will have to follow the above mentioned maximum requirements. Residential and small projects should take a lesser amount of time.
