Re : Scope of Work for Fire Alarm System
Dear Mike,
The following is a scope of work to be performed for the remodel of unit 402 in the Antlers
Building. During the construction they will be removing all the walls and ceilings in the unit,
therefore our scope of work for this unit will be to install one centrally located heat detector
during construction. We will be pulling new wire throughout the space to provide the required
support of NFPA-72 and to meet the installation standards of Vail Fire department. All of the
devices are going to be reinstalled in their current locations. The smoke detectors are to be
Gentex Model # 8124 — Single Station 24vdc temporal three with isolated relays for the heat
detector. The heat detector contacts will be monitored by a monitor module located just
outside of the unit. Horn only devices will be installed in the bedrooms and living rooms to
ensure the minimum NFPA-72 db levels are reached.
Once rough-in has been completed CSWC will contact Vail Fire for a rough-in inspection, and
upon completion of installation and testing CSWC will again contact Vail Fire to a final fire
alarm test of the unit.
