George Shaffer Construction is doing the remodel work in this unit. During the construction they will be removing all the walls and ceilings in the unit, therefore our scope of work for this unit will be to install one centrally located heat detector during construction. We will be pulling new wire throughout the space to provide the required support of NFPA-72 and to meet the installation standards of Vail Fire department. All of the devices are going to be reinstalled in their current locations. As a part of the multiple remodels occurring on site, the home owners association has agreed to upgrade the existing NFS-640 fire control panel to a new NFS2-3030 UL 9th edition panel in order to utilize the new multi-criteria smoke / heat / CO detectors and the new addressable sounder bases. This will allow them to change the living room devices to the new FCO-851 and not have to install separate CO detection. All of the existing sounder bases will be removed and changed out to the new B200S addressable sounder base to achieve both general alarm temporal three and the required temporal four for CO. Once rough-in has been completed CSWC will contact Vail Fire for a rough-in inspection, and upon completion of installation and testing CSWC will again contact Vail Fire to a final fire alarm test of the unit.
